About

What is
Knock Knock?

An internet-native calling app where your email address is your phone number.

The idea

Knocking on someone's door is a basic human right. Anyone can walk up to a door and ring the bell in good will. Knock Knock digitizes that right — if you know someone's email, you can knock them, anywhere in the world, free.

No phone numbers. No downloads. No telecom licensing. No permission from any company or government.

The origin

Imran in DC knocking his Dad in Karachi — like they were sitting next to each other. That is the product.

Built by Imran Siddiqui at Global Crossover in 72 hours, March 2026, United States.

The philosophy

The internet was supposed to make communication free and borderless. Phone numbers are a telecom monopoly. Email already exists everywhere. Your email should be enough to reach anyone.

Knock Knock is the first step toward that world.
